I find it endlessly amusing when men expect a level of domestic labour from me that I don't even do for myself. If I haven't built my own life around cooking every single day, what exactly makes you think you'll be the exception?
This word is the only reason I kinda understand when black Americans talk about Africans not understanding their struggle.
Cause if you call me the N word, it really does nothing to me. Like sure I know it’s a bad word & you shouldn’t say it, but it evokes zero emotion from me cause I have no trauma, memory or feelings attached to the word. Might as well call me an idiot.
This doesn’t mean her view has changed. She sounded very firm about what she was saying earlier. Anyone can make an apology, most especially for damage control.
She got the best fans in her season and she deserves it. Didn't watch her season but watched some episodes of their reunion, and I must say ,you are that girl, you are indeed a woman who knows her worth. Keep it up girl,I'm impressed. 👏
This was the same man who attacked me for refusing to go to a stranger that called me.
He went on a 10 minute rant about how it really wasn’t a big deal and alluded to it being the reason why I wasn’t married.
He deliberately skipped past the part about the man sending another stranger to summon me to his car, and focused entirely on the part about the phone number.
Making it seem like all the man wanted was my number.
Women are shamed for being too difficult and still shamed for being too “easy.”
See that’s why I tell ladies, be rude AF!! Don’t ever let these people trick you out of your spot. Show no mercy, cuss them out if you have to. Better be rude than in a body bag.
Because either way, they will blame YOU.
They will always find a reason for why something happened TO you and hide behind “accountability”, when they’ve never taken any themselves.

Like most reality TV, Love Is Blind is a whole socioeconomic time capsule.
Every season, the women have solid careers, have purchased homes, have their acts together, and as a whole behave kindly in their relationships.
Meanwhile the men live like pigs, are usually broke, have incredibly shady stories, and treat their fiances horribly.
It's such a microcosm into current dating.
That’s not what this trend is about and I’m honestly sick and tired of male centered women forcing themselves into every space meant to highlight women’s independence and success. A trend about women breaking limits set by patriarchy is not your cue to repackage the most basic, patriarchy approved end goal and call it empowerment.
Marriage has been pushed down women’s throats for generations stop trying to sneak it back in as if it’s revolutionary.
Was watching love is blind new season yesterday and I realized just how much my thinking has changed around marriage. This used to be my favorite show.
The desire to marry is actually a humiliating experience for women. It mostly benefits men.
My fave was Keya.
