Was really refreshing today in Cardiff Crown Court to hear Recorder P K Lewis QC recognise the psychological and emotional harm caused by domestic violence and reflect this in his sentencing! Made such a difference for the survivor who can now start to heal #DomesticViolence

A suspended sentence🤬! How are the courts ever going to make an impact into tacking domestic violence when perpetrator routinely get lenient sentences after being so violent to their partners (men & women) Low risk of reoffending my arse! Low risk of getting caught again maybe!!

Female abduction / murder is extremely rare. Yes we should all be vigilant when out alone. But this level of fear-mongering isn’t healthy. And men’s mental health is an issue as well. Calling all men out as dangerous is bad for our sons, brothers, partners.
