Independent of each other.
Naming the same individuals.
Corroborating the same core details.

On January 3, 2026 witness A made initial contact with our family. Over the next two weeks, we endured hours upon hours of horrific details of what happened in the early hours of March 2, 40 years ago.
After our initial conversation with witness A, they spent several hours telling the family what happened to Becky, what was done to her, how she was dismembered, and where she was buried. Hearing those details was devastating. It took an unimaginable amount of strength for the family to endure and process what they were being told.
On January 16, 2026, the family, accompanied by DA Investigator John Blankenship, a Texas Game Warden, and newly involved Clute PD Chief Fitch were all present as witness A walked them through the final hours of my Becky’s life.

Detail by detail.
Ending at a very specific location inside the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge.
Law enforcement officials were shown the location where her body was said to be buried, based on the witness’s account. At that time, we believed this witness was in danger and needed immediate protection. Not only did they have trusted eyes on the witness, the witness was taken to an out of county attorney, where they provided a sworn statement that was, not only sworn in but both audio and video recorded. That statement was then turned over to all relevant agencies.
Just a few days later, the witness was visited by a man formerly employed by the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office. According to the witness, he told them not to cooperate with the investigation and warned that they were in danger. This is also when he stated that the family was in danger.
Since that visit from the former DA employee, this witness has stopped cooperating with law enforcement.
While witness A has stopped cooperating, witness B continues to be helpful, and we are so grateful for that.
We will not stop seeking justice for Becky. We will not stop asking questions. And we will not be silent about the obstacles, intimidation, and failures that continue to stand in the way of the truth.
Which brings us to today.
April 1, 2026.
Almost four months later.
While vague on social media, this information has been handed over to authorities.
A location has been identified.
A sworn statement has been recorded.
Yet, no movement.
So for the next 7 days, witness A will not be named and we will continue to have faith for them to attend the upcoming meeting that continues to be postponed, because the question is no longer whether information exists.
The question is:
What is being done with it and who is it protecting?
Silence has protected this for 40 years.

Today, under the leadership of @VP Vance and @DAGToddBlanche, we are announcing the 2026 National Health Care Fraud Takedown involving 455 defendants charged in connection with $6.5+ BILLION in alleged fraud.

One person arrested by @FBILosAngeles in the Central District of California was Jeannie Choi, 57, of Torrance.

She is charged along with two other defendants—Oren David Shachar, 59, of Van Nuys, and Abraham Shin, 66, of Corona—with a hospice fraud scheme that caused Medicare to pay nearly $27 million in fraudulent claims.

Shachar allegedly exploited deceased Medicare beneficiaries by collecting their personal health data and medical records through meetings with surviving relatives. He then directed staff to use those identities to create false, backdated hospice records claiming evaluations and terminal certifications that never occurred.

Shachar paid Choi and Shin between $1,000 and $3,000 for each deceased beneficiary fraudulently enrolled in hospice care.

Shachar and Shin have pleaded not guilty and have a trial scheduled for August 11. Choi is expected to make her initial appearance and be arraigned today in Los Angeles federal court.
