I *do* kind of understand where the people who think it's pretty audacious for MAPPA to make this are coming from, but the thing is, MOST anime studios overwork their staff just as hard. MAPPA's just the one you hear about most, because they contract lots of english-speakers who are less afraid to speak up, and they're more permissive of those animators sharing their work online, compared to most big anime studios.
