Author of magical fantasy and all the amazingly enchanted worlds therein. Lover of elves, dragons, witches and snarky talking cats. My 5 don’t talk...yet
@ADHDForReal Foods on my plate can’t touch. I taste each one as I set them in their own little area. Then I eat each one from the one I like least to most. Family doesn’t notice it any longer but I do get looks at times when we’re out. So, in closing, you’re not crazy at all!
@woofknight My mother and father were object lessons more than parents. Everything about them said, “Don’t grow up like these two.” So I didn’t. No alcohol or beating my kids. Everyone is a lot happier, but especially me.
@TiffanyRobertsF I’ve read almost all your books. This is the only one so far that made be CRY! Like tissues, and the whole thing, because I couldn’t stop thinking about him!
@RebeccaEvita I have the same problem, and forget about a blurb or hook. I just can’t condense that many pages into something someone wants to purchase and read. 😕
@Desirae_Writes Wow, that's kind of...ballsy of them, isn't it? When I write violent fight scenes--bloody, gutsy scenes--I don't plan to go out and gut people. It's even kind of cathartic sometimes. I'm sorry that happened to you and wish I could help you, but I'm trying to find my own beta.
@Weaver_of_tale Indie Pantster here, too. The last book I published, I let the characters take me on their trip, making sure the important tales got told. The result? A sequel 1500 pages long. Not kidding. I love it, epic fantasy, but I need to split it into two books!
