The creative economy propels #SDGs, nurturing innovation, diversity, employment, &economic growth for a sustainable future. Tune in to @DebolaLagos, who landed in #Kigali early today with Nigerian creative experts. Their mission seeks to forge partnerships with Rwandan creatives.
They deliberated on a number of topics related to #Rwanda’s Cultural and Creative Arts Industry, ArtRwanda Ubuhanzi Programme and best practices meant to solidify creative economies.
Earlier today, @IntekoyUmuco (RCHA) officials together with DG @AnitaKayirangwa from @Unity_MemoryRw, and Mr Jackson Vugayabagabo Ag DG of @Imbuto, held a roundtable discussion with Nigerian Experts in the creative economies, led by Mr @DebolaLagos, the Chairman of AW Network.
On their visit earlier in the afternoon, Nigerian Experts in the creative economies, members of MITTA Centre Creative Expert Council laid wreath at the burial place in honour of victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
An emotional and thought-provoking experience as Nigerian creative sector superstars, currently in the country, visited @Kigali_Memorial. "Never again should this happen anywhere in the world," shared @RMofeDamijo, Actor and Executive Producer.
The Celebrities led by Mr. Williams Adebola Chairperson of AWNetwork and founder of MITTA Creative Centre exchanged extensively on potential collaboration, partnerships, and how to provide capacity building to grow Rwanda’s creative sector.
