On this day in 1942, a 59 year old Belgian Jewish man was deported from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen to Auschwitz. He was murdered in the gas chamber after selection. His name was Israël Abineri

Suzanne Spaak, a Belgian socialite, saved hundreds of Jewish children during WW2 by organising their escape from Nazi-occupied Paris. She was active in the Resistance and used her privilege to fund rescue missions.

She was executed in 1944, days before the liberation of Paris.

On this day in 1943, a 12 year old Dutch boy and his 10 year old sister were murdered in the gas chamber at Auschwitz. Their names were Jacob and Serah Elizabeth van der Heijm.

They call themselves human rights organizations, but they never fought for the lives of these Israelis and can’t even be bothered to mourn their deaths.

Izaak Henry Barendse was the youngest child in the family of Heintje van Creveld ( b. April 10, 1910) and Willem Barendse ( b. March 10, 1913). He had two older sisters. Izaak was born on August 31, 1939. The family lived at Van Leeuwenhoekstraat 37 in The Hague. His father was a merchant.
Izaak arrived with his parents in Westerbork on July 15, 1943. A few days later they were deported to #Sobibor. Upon arrival on July 23, 1943, they were murdered. Izaak was 3 years old. His sisters Esje Stella (1937) & Grietje (1938) survived WW2.
