You know you are an antisemite when..
Your outrage is directed at a Jewish charity for running ambulances, rather than at the fact those ambulances were deliberately targeted and torched.
I would like to apologise to those friends who tell me to stop “keeping on” about antisemitism. Sorry. It’s just that having Jewish charity ambulances (that help the whole community) set on fire and seeing council funded antisemitic art exhibitions, can get a tad upsetting.
@slyowusu It’s a charity. It’s for everyone. It is run by trained volunteers. Similar in structure to St John’s Ambulance.
It is a free and highly valued service provided by the Jewish community to the whole community.
It’s not hard to understand
Ah yes, those sneaky Jews. At it again. Setting up volunteer-run, charity-funded ambulance services that treat anyone in the area. Truly, no depths they won’t sink to.
I recently asked Jewish students at a leading UK university if they saw a future for themselves here. Not one said yes. Today Hatzolah ambulances, whose sole purpose is to save life - ANY life - are burned in London. A country where Jews no longer feel they have a future is already in crisis.
Wondering if the hearts of those frustrated by small acts of petty symbolism, by the feeling that smashed windows and graffiti on bakeries are simply not enough, are cheered by the upgrade to burning ambulances this morning.
@DavidLammy They are not “Jewish ambulances” it’s a Jewish charity that provides emergency medical support for everyone regardless of race or religion but it is funded by the generosity of Jews and manned by Jewish volunteers
