My name is Deberry, and I work on the people side of web3
I don’t do the “gm, sir” type of modding
I build real communities, the kind that talk back and care about what you’re building
I’ve worked as admin/mod and growth strategist, turning users into real supporters. Hmu 🤝
Why Getting Seen Matters But Only by the Right People
A lot of people build cool projects, post about them online, and then... nothing happens
No real users. No meaningful feedback. Just a few random likes and impressions
And honestly, that's more common than most people think
The mistake many builders make is believing that visibility alone is enough. But the real goal isn't to be seen by everyone, it's to be seen by the right people
Imagine you built an app for college students who hate group projects.
If your posts only reach random tech bros or large accounts outside your target audience, most people will scroll past without a second thought
But if the students who actually struggle with group projects come across it, everything changes.
>They'll stop scrolling
>They'll try the product
>They'll give feedback
And if it solves a real problem for them, they'll tell their friends about it.
That's where real growth starts...
When the right people discover your work, they don't just boost your numbers, they become your first users, your early supporters, and sometimes even your biggest advocates
Suddenly, it stops feeling like you're shouting into the void.
So don't obsess over getting attention from everyone
Focus on reaching the small group of people who genuinely need what you're building
Because momentum doesn't come from being seen by most people.
It comes from being seen by the right people 🤝🏾
