Narrative violation warning:
Elders in my Arab village in Israel told me the richest Palestinians sold their land and left first. 80 years later, their grandkids now claim to be displaced victims.
I am so allergic to victim mindset. It boils my blood. ~15 million displaced Hindus and Muslims in India-Pakistan around the SAME year. No one is trying to be a victim there. It's time to move on.
"You only get to be a victim once. After that, you’re a volunteer."
New preprint alert 🤩
Excited to share our new preprint introducing the U-method, a simple and fast framework for identifying robust marker genes in single-cell RNA-seq data!

Today, I am proud to be Israeli.
Despite all the shaming.
Despite all the UN "resolutions".
Despite all the academics.
Despite all the online pressure.
Israel is cleaning the Middle East from radical religious terrorists. One by one.
They will not thank us for it.
But someone had to do the job.
I had the privilege to present my research at the ILANIT FISEB Conference 💫! Amazing speakers and great energy all around.
Huge thanks to my PI, @shouval , and my lab mates for the support that made this work possible. 🚀

La brillante satira di Luca Bizzarri e Paolo Kessisoglu arriva a pungere finanche la non avvocatessa Francesca Albanese.
CALA IL GELO IN STUDIO. FORMIGLI PARE PIETRIFICATO
✨ Honored to present my work at the Cold Spring Harbor Biology of Cancer: Microenvironment & Metastasis conference! ✨
Grateful to my PI Prof. Ruth Scherz-Shouval @shouval, my amazing lab mates, and the organizers for this inspiring event full of groundbreaking science 💪
✨ Grateful and honored to receive the Dwek Fellowship Award! ✨
This recognition means so much to me. I want to thank my amazing PI Prof. @shouval for her guidance and belief in me, and my incredible lab mates. You make this journey so much better
Excited for what’s ahead!🥼
Healthy cells in the vicinity of malignant tumors can be co-opted by cancer, helping it evade the immune system & anti-cancer treatments. A new study from Prof. Ruth Scherz-@shouval’s lab reveals the surprising lengths to which this cellular collab can go>> https://t.co/Nx3IdiTBK0
I’m so happy to share the new RSS lab study lead by the amazing @AviadBenShmuel@YaelGruper@CoralHalperin on NK cells and CAFs roles and interactions in breast cancer! It was a blast working with you 🙌🙌
Thrilled to share our new study on CAFs and NK cells, now online 🌟 in CD!!
NK cells are ideal candidates for cancer killing since they don't need antigen specificity. But they are usually not active in tumors. We wondered whether this could be due to inhibition by CAFs 🧵👇
Ants and humans share a rare ability: each can work together in groups to mobilize oversized objects. In a new @PNASNews study, Prof. @feinermo and his team explored this, uncovering surprising insights into the strengths and challenges of cooperation >> https://t.co/Z63V4Ka2kL
📢 Hot off the press! CAFs are major regulators of the immune tumor microenvironment. In our new review we dissect a fascinating aspect of this regulation: CAF-induced physical constraints controlling T cell state and localization in solid tumours https://t.co/jqGYDpC0En
I am excited to share this study I took part in, led by the amazing @chenl1208 🙌
Mapping stress responses in the TME and elucidating how such stress responses work together as a network in different tumor types
🌟 New paper alert 🌟 Especially in these difficult times, very happy and proud to share our new study: Mapping the tumor stress network reveals dynamic shifts in the stromal oxidative stress response https://t.co/VXl75cARlO
Thrilled to share the latest commentary by the @shouval_lab exploring age-related changes in pancreatic fibroblasts and their impact on cancer progression! Had a blast writing with @DebraBarki on the fascinating work by Zabransky et al. @AshaniTW@CR_AACR
