Why was Barabbas released instead of Jesus?
Scripture could have simply said: "A prisoner was released."
But it gives him a name. Barabbas.
In Aramaic, Bar-Abba means "
son of the father."
And standing beside him was the true Son of the Father.
One was guilty.
One was innocent.
One deserved punishment.
One deserved worship.
Yet the guilty man walked free... while the innocent man walked toward the cross. Think about the theological picture. Barabbas did not negotiate his freedom. He did not earn it.
He did not even ask for it.
He simply received the benefit of another man's condemnation.
The Gospel is not the story of humanity making itself worthy enough to approach God.
It is the story of humanity standing where Barabbas stood... watching Christ take the place we deserved.
The institutional structure we wrongly call “church” today didn’t emerge until the 4th century - hundreds of years after the New Testament was written.
It arose when men discovered they could monetize God’s people by becoming the focus of ministry from a stage above them …
Instead of unpretentiously serving among them to equip them for ministry.
Nidal Hasan was a U.S. Army major who walked into Fort Hood and executed unarmed soldiers getting ready to deploy. Thirteen dead. More than thirty shot. Pfc. Francheska Velez, 21, pregnant, just home from Iraq, was one of them. He yelled “Allahu Akbar,” called it jihad, and sat on a death sentence since 2013.
Now a December 3 firing squad at the same post may be livestreamed, and the same ghouls who clapped when Charlie Kirk was murdered on camera are suddenly too fragile to watch
Kirk had a microphone. Hasan slaughtered his own. Keep your tears. He earned the squad.
I see a lot of Democrats are VERY angry about the public execution of a convicted terrorist and murderer.
If you are one of those Democrats, I think I know how to change your mind. Just pretend he’s a popular Christian activist who debated college kids. You loved that execution.
The Bible was written on three continents:
- Europe
- Asia
- Africa
In three languages:
- Hebrew
- Aramaic
- Greek
By over 40 different men:
- Kings
- Prophets
- Fishermen
- A doctor
Yet it tells one unified story:
- Creation
- Fall
- Redemption
- Christ
God is incredible.

n our most exhausted and desperate moments, when all we can do is crawl to the feet of Jesus, we need to remember: Crawling counts too. | Kaitlin Chapell Rogers
No more standing on the fence when it comes to Zionism.
You either agree with God's promises for Israel or you embrace the delusional theology of Replacement Theology.
If you do the latter, you might find yourself being drawn into deceptive beliefs as God has warned against becoming arrogant against His promises for the Jew.
Sobering times for the sect which embraces Jew-hatred disguised as Replacement Theology.
That is heresy.
The entire Christian faith rests upon the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Scripture says, “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.” — 1 Corinthians 15:14
And again: “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!” — 1 Corinthians 15:17
Jesus Christ is the head of His Church: “And He is the head of the body, the church…” — Colossians 1:18
Show me a Bible verse establishing the PAPACY as the head of Christ’s Church.
I sincerely pray that you repent of idolatry and place your faith and worship in Jesus Christ alone.
The New York Post just revealed that the Gazan doctor who wrote two opinion pieces in the New York Times, accusing Israel of genocide after October 7th, is actually a Hamas terrorist himself.
It turns out that Dr. Hussam Abu Safyia is a Hamas Colonel.
“Fret not yourself because of evildoers, and be not envious of the wicked, for the evil man has no future; the lamp of the wicked will be put out.” — Proverbs 24:19-20
The arrogance of man will be brought low and human pride humbled, the Lord alone will be exalted, in that day.
Isaiah 2:17
Super intelligence will fail, 'in that day'...
@creation247 Mark 8:38 (ESV): “For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
Times Square billboard honors the 1,200 victims of October 7th ahead of the 3rd anniversary. 🇮🇱
The faces of victims including Shani Louk have been displayed on a giant billboard to remind passers by of the massacre carried out by Palestinian terrorists.
As a Christian, I must respectfully disagree with Trump and Elon on this one.
Here's why.
AI (artificial intelligence) is a better, more fitting term than SI (super intelligence).
Human intelligence is more than just solving problems and learning.
It involves discernment and wisdom as well, which are distinct aspects of intelligence that require a human soul, filled with the Holy Spirit, behind it (2 Tim. 1:17).
In fact, the Bible says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Prov. 9:10).
Only a soul can fear God, meaning all AI lacks a fundamental aspect of intelligence, wisdom, which is defined as "the ability to make good judgments and sound decisions by using your knowledge, experience, and deep understanding."
AI is incredible. It benefits my life daily.
But it's just that: artificial.
It lacks invaluable aspects of human intelligence that can't ever be fabricated and can only come from human counsel, intuition, experience, and God, since we're created in his image. And since AI is permanently lacking in a core aspect of intelligence, it therefore can't be super intelligence (SI).
We must remember that the brain is different from the mind.
The former is physical, but the latter is spiritual (Rom. 12:2), so no technology can ever replace all its functions.
Discerning and wise Christian minds are invaluable and irreplaceable.
Keep AI as AI, because it's not SI. It is AI. And Christians would be wise to understand this difference so that we don't offload all matters of intelligence and thinking to AI instead of wise human counsel.
If a co-pilot stabs the captain and tries to crash a plane full of Israelis, and your first instinct is “don’t call it terrorism,” you’re not a journalist.
You’re a publicist.
