@TheKentAcorn The acorn I tried to grow did take a long time to shoot and then grew like this. Sadly it didn’t survive being planted in a pot when I thought it was ready. I’ll have to try again. 😊

@patrick_barkham I used this special glass vase to grow my own oak tree. It worked well but grew a bit wonky 😆 No good if growing in bulk though. Good luck

@patrick_barkham Put them in a bucket of water. Discard any floaters as they are probably not viable.

Plant 3-4cm deep on their side in a deep (eg. 20cm) pot, in a mix of 65% PF compost + 35% horticultural sand. Cover with mesh. Leave outside.

Should come up in the following spring.🤞
