Most Batman fans in the fandom are infamous for not reading any comics.

Canonically, DID NOT. Yes, what he did was cruel but I heavily dislike the misinformation on the rape. It’s been disproven.

Yes many come from other Batman media, like with every other Batman ship, so there’s no point in specifying “mainly with the audience that doesn’t consume comics”. The same can be said with every Batman ship.

@zzagreu @aelinwifey That’s fine but when you write a ship without adding other text; for instance, saying “batjokes” instead of “b@tjokes”. It show’s up when batjokes fans want to see content of the ship.
It’s disrespectful to type out the name and make it show up on batjokes searches.

@zzagreu @aelinwifey Batjokes has existed since the Dark Knight Returns (1986) There is no ‘it got popular’, it simply is a major ship, and will continue to be. And Twobats really doesn’t have that large of a fandom and is barley in comics.
