The Texas State Department of Health has announced Wise Health System in Decatur will receive 975 doses of the Pfizer anti Covid 19 immunization drug as early as the week of December 14. Under state direction the first immunization shots will go to health care workers.

The DEDC Board of Directors selected Kevin Holzbog of the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (and previously the Bridgeport EDC to lead the organization effective December 1, 2020. Holzbog will replace Thom Lambert who is retiring as the DEDC Executive Director.
