Venezia presented a new stadium project yesterday at Town Hall and it’s 🔥

This new stadium is designed by famous architecture firms Maffeis Engineering and Populous who have designed some of the best stadiums in the world.

It will be around 18,500 seats and located in Tessèra, so no more ferry rides to the stadium.

Another step in the right direction if this gets approved.

The new Kop Stand at the STōK Cae Ras secured another key milestone today when Wrexham County Borough Council’s Planning Committee voted to approve the Club’s new designs.

Wrexham AFC CEO, Michael Williamson, said:
“It was a pleasure to speak in front of the Planning Committee today and share the Club’s excitement and ambition to deliver an atmospheric and authentic new Kop Stand for our fans.

"We look forward now to turning this vision into reality and writing a new chapter in the rich history of our proud Club and Stadium.”

Wrexham AFC can confirm that the updated designs for the new Kop Stand are included on the Wrexham County Borough Council Planning Committee agenda for the meeting on Monday March 3 and are pleased that they are recommended for approval.

The Committee Report recognises the significant enhancement that the development will have on the area.

We are confident the Planning Committee will endorse the report’s recommendation and that this will be the first key step on our journey to creating a four-sided stadium for the Club and community.

Como’s potential new stadium looks stunning! 🔥😍

Today, the club presented their stadium proposal to the city for approval. Designed by the renowned firm Populous—the masterminds behind Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and proposed designs for Inter, Roma, and more—the project aims to modernize Como’s home.

Currently holding around 8,000 fans, the revamped stadium will add 15,000 more seats. If approved, Como will follow Atalanta’s approach, renovating in stages.

Project Timeline:

🚧 Construction Phase I – October 2027
🏗 Construction Phase II – August 2028
