@GTV_Ghana This comment is unfortunate. Its coming as we celebrate globally, Menstrual Hygiene Mgt. A day dedicated to creating awareness of the importance of menstrual hygiene Mgt and making sanitary products affordable accessible to all women. We must eliminate period poverty. Period!
@GTV_Ghana How does that work? There are no special pads for children and for working women.
And how are the institutions, Customs and GRA going to determine this? We are advocating for sanitary products to be zero rated as suggested by @GhanaRevenue
@ishmaelniiofori@GhanaRevenue Totally agree with you, especially as it is a product that women have no choice in its use. It is for a biological purpose.
@WaterAidNiger@wateraid Well done. Together we will raise awareness about the injustice of access to clean safely managed water , sanitation and hygiene and hold duty bearers accountable to the SDG commitments
