HT: Arsenal 1-0 Everton.

Konsa scores the first set-piece goal of the season. Should be more. Everton have offered nothing.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

I’m worried about Martín Zubimendi’s long-term future at Arsenal.

Arteta keeps saying he deserves more minutes, yet he still barely plays. That doesn’t end well.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

If it was Arsenal, Aston Villa would be playing the nastiest low block right now.

Their approach changes depending on who they’re facing.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Aston Villa robbed Chelsea on Jackson.

He was worth more than what they paid. Clear daylight robbery.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Marc Guehi is overrated.

Solid defender, nothing more. The hype around him has never matched the actual level.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Piero Hincapié, Martin Zubimendi and Max Dowman all spotted with the team this morning.

Hincapié and Zubimendi available is fine. Dowman being there already tells you the wide areas are a problem.

Relying on a 16-year-old this early in the season is not depth. It’s a gap.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Early kick-off away at Villa today.

Man City are not surviving that. Villa Park early on a Saturday is a trap, and this City side haven’t looked fully convincing on the road.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Hincapie is available again today for Everton.

Small boost on the defensive side, but it doesn’t change the bigger problem out wide.

Saka’s absence is the one that will be felt most over the next few weeks.

I trust Madueke to step up. Max Dowman too.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

@Sikaforever We really messed up

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Letting Martinelli go was a mistake.

With Saka set for a spell out and Tzolis still working his way back, the wide options look thinner than they needed to.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Arsenal are set to make a move for RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa in January.

Leipzig are open to a sale at the right price.

With Saka out for weeks and the wide areas already stretched, this is the kind of addition that actually makes sense.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Declan Rice: 54 G/A for Arsenal in three years.

Not bad for someone some still want to talk about as a centre-back.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Bukayo Saka is set to be out for at least 6 weeks, with some reports putting it between 6 and 8.

That’s a significant spell without him, especially with the wide areas already stretched. How Arteta manages the minutes and options in that period will matter.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Arteta on Saka: Another MRI this afternoon. Quite a lot of fluid in the area so it’s been hard to judge the extent.
More scans and specialist opinions still needed. We’ll know more tomorrow.

This doesn’t sound good 💔

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Rice rescues another point in Munich after a MOTM performance and still gets treated like a normal midfielder by some.

Man is elite. Stop the agenda and respect greatness.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Pedro Neto’s entire Premier League career:

187 appearances → 23 goals + 32 assists = 55 G/A

Took him eight seasons across Wolves and Chelsea to get one more contribution than Declan Rice

54 G/A for Arsenal in 3 years.

[@ @DeeAFC_]

Saka’s quad doesn’t look good. Arteta already sounded worried.

Tzolis still out too. Wide areas suddenly look thin.

I still don’t understand why we didn’t replace Trossard and Martinelli.

Ødegaard and Rice currently sit 1st and 2nd for successful final-third passes in the Champions League this season.

Captain and midfield engine quietly dominating their opponents.

Havertz drags the Bayern CB to the center circle leaving space for Calafiori to attack.

Gabriel isn’t normal 😂
