Remember the Cuba matter with the Department of Arts and Culture denying me off my opportunity? My work was translated in Cuba in a tribute to Ntate Keorapetse Kgositsile. I was chosen alongside SA icon Antjie Krog.

The head of department of Arts and Culture refused to bring back my copies of the book because of ego reasons and the deep antagonism I get from the department.

When I send messages to the minister spokesperson she ignores them.

I just want the copies of my work guys. It’s not fair and it’s so cruel what they are doing.

Pls RT far and wide till I get my books from Cuba. It’s my work 😔😔

@PhilMphela What's happening to the industry is so sad. Some have not had work for over a year, cars getting repossessed, people losing their homes, evictions. The few that are working are getting pay cuts that don't match the budgets submitted. Yho 😞
