@DB_Network on IG and YT for my tips on how to become a better Defensive Back!
One of my favorite coaching cues during Catch Man Drills is: "Take a charge."
I encourage DB's to play basketball. You're constantly working man-to-man fundamentals in a fast, fluid environment... Staying square, moving laterally, controlling leverage, and cutting off angles.
Check out @Coach_BSimmons' presentation from last night's Coach's showcase now in the member portal.
He went over simplifying defensive structures for offense coaches and ways to better attack defenses against those looks.

We all working with the same set of tools it’s just a matter of how you deliver information so that it resonates with the listener so that they can process and compartmentalize the information. Your mind is a powerful weapon if you know how to use it!

@superseats@Schottey I watched 5 seconds of this video and understood he was talking about college. It’s crazy people are taking this so far out of context
I did 4 tournaments as a coach for Trillion Boyz a couple years ago… The embarrassing & unprofessional nature of the coaches, referees, and even OT7 at times created such a toxic environment that I had to step away before I put my hands on somebody (including a coach on my own team) … Doing backflips in underwear after scoring on a 14 year old freshmen because you’re a 19 year old double hold back senior doesn’t make you good. And the recruiting sites that love to enable this toxic behavior at tournaments are just as much to blame. Yal love shoving the camera in these kids faces whether they score a TD, argue on the field, get in a fight, or even get hurt. It’s all for clicks. 7 on 7 football IS NOT REAL FOOTBALL and you’ll get ya feelings hurt thinking your kid is better than the rest because of what he does in a passing league with zero tackling. This shit was meant to be a way of creating a “travel ball” for football players outside of their respective seasons to gain further recruitment. Not the popularity contest you parents, recruiting sites, and coaches have turned this bullshit into. It’s sad to see honestly!
