VIDEO | Assam: On International Yoga Day, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi participates at a yoga event organised by the Indian Army in Tezpur, Sonitpur district.
At the event, COAS Dwivedi says, "The literal meaning of Yoga is 'to unite.' When we connect the body, mind, and soul, it is called Yoga. This is why yoga is a daily lifestyle, something that remains in your mind and resides in your body from morning to night. Our soldiers need this the most when stationed in high-altitude zones, field areas, and difficult terrains. In those places, they face the harsh challenges of the landscape, extreme weather, and a deep sense of isolation. Therefore, it is essential for a soldier to keep both his body and his soul healthy. When the body and soul unite, and we connect with the divine, what we call spiritualism and it brings a profound sense of calmness and stability to the body. It infuses the body with a unique energy, providing the freshness and motivation needed to perform one's duties."

Several state and central universities across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and other states have decided to replace the word “India” with “Bharat” on degrees, marksheets, correspondence, invitations and signboards.
The move follows a sustained campaign by the RSS-linked Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, which argues that Bharat is the country’s “real name”.
Institutions including Rani Durgavati University, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya and Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University have passed resolutions backing the change, while the Constitution continues to recognise both India and Bharat.

PHOTO | Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) has achieved a landmark milestone for India and Andhra Pradesh with its indigenous Dilution Refrigerator successfully reaching 4 Kelvin (-269°C) at the Quantum Reference Facility in Medha Towers, Amaravati.
This achievement marks one of the most important advances yet in India’s quest to build a complete homegrown quantum technology ecosystem. It represents a significant step towards the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat in frontier technologies and positions India among the countries building critical quantum hardware capabilities indigenously. The milestone further strengthens the vision of making Andhra Pradesh a global hub for advanced technologies.
The journey began in September 2025 when scientists, researchers, startups and industry leaders met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and presented an assessment showing that nearly 85% of the components required for quantum computing infrastructure could potentially be developed within India. Recognizing the scale of the opportunity, the Chief Minister and the IT minister Nara Lokesh called for the creation of a complete indigenous quantum hardware ecosystem and articulated a bold vision: “Made in Amaravati for the World.”

In this follow-up, Prof. V. Kamakoti (Director, @iitmadras and Member, National Security Advisory Board) demonstrates the Telegram trick live.
A student sends "pdf1.pdf" at 3:39 PM. A minute later, the message is edited — the file is silently replaced with "pdf2.pdf". The timestamp still reads 3:39 PM. Nothing indicates that anything changed.
Telegram allows this for up to 48 hours after a message is sent.
(He deliberately doesn't show the exact method — responsible disclosure. He's not handing scammers a how-to.)
This is exactly how fake "leak" videos are made.

Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of @iitmadras, explains the exact Telegram trick — and shows how it's already been used to fake "leaks" for JEE Advanced and the IISER Aptitude Test.
Same playbook, different exam. His message to NEET candidates and parents: don't fall for it. Stay focused on your prep.

When images of Japanese fans meticulously cleaning stadium stands after World Cup matches went viral, the world took notice.
This act of respect was not merely performative, it reflects a deeply rooted cultural value of collective responsibility that extends even to the national team, who famously left their dressing room impeccably clean, complete with a multilingual “thank you” note for the hosts.
This mindset is cultivated from a young age. In Japanese schools, students regularly participate in soji, a daily cleaning routine where they tidy their classrooms, hallways, and bathrooms. Far from being seen as a chore, this practice teaches children the importance of shared spaces and personal accountability to the community.
This emphasis on collective stewardship stands in contrast to more individualistic societies, where public areas are often left littered and maintenance is viewed as someone else’s responsibility. The Japanese approach offers a powerful example of how ingrained habits of respect and mindfulness can transform the way people interact with shared environments.
Ultimately, the Japanese team’s and fans’ behavior serves as more than just a feel-good story, it invites reflection on how a stronger sense of collective responsibility could benefit communities worldwide.

Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says, "You are all aware of what Gorakhpur was like nine years ago. #WATCH | Delhi: At the signing of MoU between Government of India, Nagaland & Assam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah says, "Today, we are witnessing a historic moment. This will enhance the prospects for oil and natural gas exploration. This pattern opens up possibilities for mineral mining as well. I view the entire matter from a different perspective. The Prime Minister has presented a vision of a prosperous and developed North East to the region and the nation; today, we have successfully removed a major hurdle in realising that vision. While the spirit of 'Nation First' is often understood in the context of political parties, their policies, or individuals, today I see the entire North East moving forward by embracing this agreement in that very spirit. Both states decided not to let these concerns hinder the extraction of India's oil resources, agreeing instead to a 50-50 sharing arrangement. This is national wealth, and I believe this sentiment is crucial. Today, a historic MoU has been signed between the Government of India, the Government of Assam, and the Government of Nagaland. Furthermore, the Chief Minister of Nagaland has stated that the state government is open to oil exploration across the entire state, beyond just these six fields. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland..."
