There's no one quite like Aretha Franklin! @SheleaMusic doin’ it on vocals ‘n keys for Don't Play That Song for the Aretha Proms back in 2022. #ArethaFranklin#BBCProms

Let’s hope NI’s Annita McVeigh won’t be another female victim of ageism at BBC. She’s one of five women presenters, all aged 48-plus, missing from BBC News for 16 weeks now.Sadly, like much of its output, ageism seems to be repeated endlessly at the Beeb https://t.co/80CTRSnkb0
It is here, I have the FIRST copy of my new book, Fearless, Adventures with Extraordinary Women and I LOVE it. It has been a wild year writing and researching it, I have met some incredible, courageous, brave and inspiring women and I hope it will give you a sense of adventure!
@robertrea You made it, it was a real pleasure working with you over the years. Good luck in whatever you do next. I will always be grateful for those Olympic tickets in 2012. Thanks mate💕
@RachelDEdwards I was a broadcast journalist/producer on BBC television news. I contacted him following the death of George Floyd for a discussion programme. It went out on air a few years ago. His story was so impressive.
For every violent, racist, misogynistic column published (and Clarkson’s is one of many), there’s a team of editorial staff who think it’s acceptable. And, as we’re seeing today, TV producers who believe this kind of hate speech is debatable. The rot is at the core of our media.
