Another day, another 3 am 💩 incident.
Baby wipes are now a shared commodity between baby and cat - which is quite an unexpected development

@Hawksnicky @she_jedi I’m sure she enjoys being locked up in the bathroom while I wipe her bottom.
Maybe she sees me doing it to the baby and decided its something she wants to experience? 🥲

@keeper_of_books @tinykarin I’d appreciate any advice! We typically shave her but given it’s winter here in Australia I feel bad about doing it! I might do a hygiene shave so at least her bum and tail don’t collect the 💩
She’s 16 yrs old now so getting picky with food and less agile to clean herself 😢

In an interesting development, it seems like the baby gets that the cat is a living creature rather than a walking teddy bear and now babbles at her every time she walks in front of him 🥹

Living with a baby and an old(er) cat means there’s always something unexpected around the corner.
Scene: I wake up at 3 am because baby wants a bottle - so far so good. Walking to the kitchen I notice some interesting smudges on the floor.

@Hawksnicky Spliff likes a midnight 💩as well, but lately has been good about not leaving a lot of evidence.
Obviously she decided she’d spoiled us enough and went for the jackpot 🥲

It is now 10 hours later and she’s still sour at me.
And I’m so sleep deprived I almost gave the baby a sip of me coffee, which would have been interesting.
I think it’s time we shave the fluff ball.
