The saddest thing about these amendments is the fact that they have been drafted to counter the Student Debt Relief Bill proposed by the EFF which aims to ensure that students get their qualifications even when they owe universities & to ultimately scrap student debt. The ANC proving once again that they will die on the hill of keeping the youth in perpetual poverty instead of improving their lives. This further reaffirms that the people who don’t vote for the EFF are doing themselves a great disservice.
