When it comes to promiscuity, there are only two kinds of men. The first will sleep with anything in a skirt. The second is a man of principle who is disciplined and selective about who he sleeps with.

A principled man knows there are lines you do not cross, no matter how beautiful a woman is. You don't sleep with your mother, your sisters, or your daughter. Many decent men would not even consider sleeping with their cousin.

Yet one prophet of particular concern slept with his own cousin and then turned it into something lawful.

Even if I wanted to force myself to accept Muhammad as a true prophet of God, the serious problems surrounding his life would make that difficult.

A prophet who contradicts the message of previous prophets cannot come from the same God who sent them.

The Bible says a prophet is known by his fruits. But when I examine Muhammad’s legacy, I see troubling things such as violence, terrorism and child marriage.

I cannot reconcile those things with the character of the Creator of the world.

Mohammed Yusuf (1970–2009) founded Boko Haram in 2002 and transformed it into a movement that rejected Western education, democracy, and secular government, insisting that only strict Sharia should rule Nigeria.

From Maiduguri, he recruited followers by mixing religious preaching with welfare programs while exploiting widespread poverty and anger over corruption.

Influenced by Salafi teachings and Ibn Taymiyyah, Yusuf rejected modern science and declared that Muslims who worked for Nigeria's secular government were supporting an illegitimate system. His teachings were publicly challenged by respected Muslim scholars, but he remained committed to his hardline ideology.

In July 2009, Boko Haram launched coordinated attacks on police stations and government buildings across northern Nigeria.

After the military crushed the uprising, Yusuf was captured and later killed in police custody. His death did not end the movement. Instead, his deputy, Abubakar Shekau, rebuilt Boko Haram into one of Africa's deadliest terrorist organizations, carrying out bombings, massacres, and mass kidnappings for years.

A woman caught in adultery was brought before Jesus. The crowd wanted to stone her under the Law of Moses. Instead, Jesus said, "Let the one among you who has never sinned cast the first stone" (John 8:7).

Her accusers walked away, and Jesus told her, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin no more" (John 8:11). He confronted her sin but chose mercy, forgiveness, and restoration.

Now compare that with Islam.

According to Sahih Muslim 17:4206, a woman confessed adultery to Muhammad. After she gave birth and weaned her child, he ordered that she be stoned to death.

One woman walked away forgiven. The other was executed.

That is the difference.

Christianity offers repentance, forgiveness, and a new life. Islam answers the same sin with a public execution.

These are two completely different visions of justice and mercy.
