AI copyright lawsuits are coming thick and fast. In just the last couple of weeks:
- USA Today & 18 other papers sued OpenAI
- around 300 authors sued Meta
- a pair of musicians sued Black Forest Labs
The Black Forest Labs one is particularly interesting - I wouldn't be surprised if much bigger music rights holders follow suit.
The pace of arrival of these lawsuits is speeding up, not slowing down.
The oldheads have a point Modern anime fight scenes may have better animation on a technical level but in terms of actual directing and choreography older anime was better if this was made today it would have a billion effects and you wouldn't be able tell what's happening
My boards from the episode of Teen Titans Go I wrote called “Fishing!!!”. Enjoy my burnt out boards that were magically transformed into a good looking episode! (1/2)
Damn @THR not a single black person on your "Animation Power List". Like Bruce W. Smith who just did the final season of "Proud Family" not even on it?#Weak

Hi, Jeff here. We worked tirelessly for a year and a half on this project and would appreciate any help you can give us. I am the lead writer so you can blame me for that, but I’m really trying to make it great ok! Thank you all!
They really cancelled the Spider-Man Noir show because Nicholas cage didn’t want to sign a waiver to use Gen Ai on it
“Im probably not gonna be working with that studio again and that’s ok”
