Narendra Modi is crossing all limits of brutality.

These are Ankita Bhandhari’s parents. Ankita was a girl who was murdered by the same system. Now they’re not sparing her parents either.

My take on what next - The protest has not ended with the weekend. It is going to start from the first day of week beginning tomorrow. Connaught Place becoming new Jantar Mantar. Guerrilla style of flash protests by students, pressure groups & conventional style of protests by Political parties in rotation till objectives achieved. Long show planned like never before in the recent years.

Why did you delete the part where I was asking for my phone so I could retrieve my cousin’s number? And where I was asking to let me speak to my lawyers?

The same Delhi Police which is now taking the moral high ground for informing me about my grandmother’s demise and offering me a ride home came to me at 3:30 in the morning with arrest papers, demanding that I sign them.

Where did all that humanity go at 3:30 AM? Despite knowing that I had just lost my grandmother, they still insisted that I sign the arrest papers. I refused until I was allowed to speak to my lawyers.

Shame on you

You are sitting with the DCP / Police officer who sent uniformed police with sticks in to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. Sikhs have never forgiven those who sent police into Guru ka Ghar.

You should have demanded FIR against this officer, u should have demanded resignation of HM Amit Shah for this misadventure. But u are enjoying his company with snacks served on the table.

You have lost the moral right to represent the Gurudwara committee.

Sikh brothers and sisters have always supported the youngsters. They have never ever discriminated or judged anyone on the basis of religion, caste, class, or race.

The Delhi Police’s forced entry into Bangla Sahib, in shoes, no head cover, and with weapons is utterly condemnable. No matter what ideology one belongs to, our places of worship should never be INSULTED in this manner!

I request everyone, not just Sikh brothers and sisters, to support the youth in big numbers. This is a shared struggle, for accountability, for a clean system, a brighter future!
