@Amara_Bengaluru America debt touched 40 trillion. They are spending 1 trillion annually for the interest on their debt. Sooner or later this is going to weigh on the investors. When the economy might crash is not clear, but definitely on the cards

@TonkyMusky@kartik_kannan@PABadami@kanishkaab I met him at that exact same place 10 years back. I introduced myself and told him I am from the same college where he studied. Also told him that his spell in Ahmedabad test against SA 1996 was the best. He bowled reverse swing and won the match for us

A hero of 2018, 2024 and 2026 is no more.
R. Rajesh of Kalliyoor, Thiruvananthapuram, was a rescue volunteer and rappelling instructor who answered the call of duty whenever Keralam needed him.
He stepped forward during the 2018 floods. He was among the rescuers during the Wayanad landslide tragedy in 2024. And in 2026, he made the ultimate sacrifice.
After giving his own life jacket to save a stranded farmer from the swollen Kariangode River in Kannur, Rajesh was swept away by the currents.
His courage, selflessness and sacrifice will forever be a part of Keralam's story.
My deepest condolences to his wife Smt. Lekshmi, his two young sons Arshan and Abhishek, his parents Shri Rajasekharan and Smt. Geetha, and all those who loved him.
I pray that his family finds the strength to bear this immeasurable loss.
Om Shanti 🙏
These are elected representatives for 5 years. The election was conducted using taxpayers money. How can he resign?. Will he fund the by election? Again taxpayers money will be used for re election 😡
Well you want to know the reason for not getting a ministerial position. Very simple. During siddaramaiyas first tenure , you were KPCC president. You blocked DKS during those days. Now it is payback time for DKS.
Throughout my career in politics, I have been extremely grateful to serve the people of Karnataka - as an MLA and as a Minister, working on initiatives I truly believe have made a difference on the ground. Being a six-time MLA is only possible because of the trust people keep placing in me, and that means everything.
My commitment to the Congress party and to my constituents has never wavered. I’ve held various positions right from Youth Congress, to District Congress, KPCC and AICC. At the end of the day, I’ve worked hard, been fiercely loyal, ideologically clear, and given my best for the people who’ve stood by me - that’s what matters most to me.
Ultimately, what drives me is a commitment to good governance, good values, and to serving the public. I have, and always will, continue to work honestly and with integrity.
It is disappointing that after so many years of service to the state and the party, I have not been considered to serve the government in this cabinet. I am disappointed by decisions taken without being given any reason for my exclusion.
With that being said, I will continue to work for my people and towards the betterment of Karnataka.
One one side we have frontier technology companies in Karnataka. But on the other side we have ministers chosen with serious controversies surrounding them ❤️🩹
KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM KARNATAKA CABINET EXPANSION.
ONE WOMAN. Just one woman finds a place in the entire Karnataka cabinet.
YOUTH PROMISES FADE. Despite the high command pushing for generational change, there are few new or young faces.
MUSLIM REPRESENTATION UP. Muslim representation rises from two cabinet berths to three, along with the post of Legislative Council Chairman.
OLD GUARD RETURNS. Several ministers from the Siddaramaiah cabinet retain their place in the D.K. Shivakumar cabinet.
ZAMEER IN, CONTROVERSY TOO. Zameer Ahmed Khan is inducted despite allegations over funding SDPI during the Davangere bypoll.
NO BRAHMIN REPRESENTATION. The Brahmin community gets no place in the new cabinet.
NAGENDRA BACK. B. Nagendra returns to the cabinet despite having been accused in the Valmiki Development Corporation scam.

It takes a lot to be a stakeholder in Indian football. It has been like that for some time now. But when everything around looks like it will crumble, you bank on family to hold on to each other. And more often than not, it is the elders in the house that you turn to, for assurance. All of you at the TATA Group, through TFA first, and then @JamshedpurFC, have been one of our pillars.
To know that Jamshedpur has folded first team operations is a punch to the gut. The players and staff will be without clubs, and they might find one by the end of it all. The League will have a team less, but the season will go on. However, not having the TATA group involved in the top tier of Indian football - that would be a disaster with no alternative.
I understand that some tough decisions in sport are down to what makes sense in the board room. But I can only request and hope that the think tank at TATA picks their heart over head and reconsiders this call. It might be a poor business decision, but it will be the one Indian football needs the most at this hour.
