The Supreme Court’s new definition says only hills 100m+ will count as Aravallis — and that’s terrifying. This one change can remove protection from nearly 90% of the range. After that, mining and construction won’t need loopholes… everything becomes “legal.”

Aravallis are NCR’s shield against dust storms, a crucial groundwater source, and a natural defence against rising temperatures. Delhi is already choking & this will make it worse.

I don’t know what’s happening to our judiciary these Irresponsible rulings and senseless decisions are becoming normal. If we don’t oppose this definition, Delhi-NCR will face hotter air, toxic dust, and collapsing groundwater.
