So I keep thinking that we lost to PSG away last year and won at home. So there is hope. Then I remember we somehow managed to replace Rashford and Asensio with Buendia and Bailey. Incredible downgrade. Bailey is useless and Buendia isn't even quite as good as that. #avfc

@DAMcGuffie I agree that's valid, but we haven't tried to play in a different way. Hell if the midfield isn't working - which it clearly isn't - playing from the back isn't working. Why not old school - two up front and lump it up all the time. It cannot be any worse.

Emery has too much power at Villa. Where are the outside voices saying this needs adjusting etc. He is stuck in his ways, which even when we win is not scintillating football. When its failing repeatedly, no one there to tell him, it's not working. Repeated mistakes. #avfc.
