Tonight, I take the Miss World stage carrying a story that is deeply rooted in home. 🇳🇬🌿
Inspired by the Amazon of the Mangrove, this costume pays homage to the strength of the women, the richness of the Niger Delta.

I declare over you today: the hand of God is coming upon every situation that requires divine intervention. Where there has been confusion, you receive clarity. Where there has been delay, there is movement. Where there has been lack, help is coming.

Remote opportunities don't always stay open for long.
Random career tip.
I’ve recently started keeping a simple weekly log of my impact, achievements, and positive feedback at work, and it’s already been more useful than I expected.
It’s easy to move straight on to the next piece of work and forget what you’ve actually accomplished. Taking just 10-15 mins at the end of each week to do this has helped me reflect and recognise my progress.
On the days imposter syndrome kicks in, you have something tangible to look back on. It reminds me of Psalm 143:4-5:
“So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed. I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.”
Sometimes the best response to discouragement is to intentionally remember.
It’s also incredibly useful when it’s time for PDPs, promotion applications, CV updates, or interviews. You’ll have real examples to draw from instead of trying to remember everything at the last minute.
I’d definitely recommend this. It’s such a small habit, but it has a big payoff.
I just use OneNote, but a spreadsheet works just as well.
We have spent years being told it is “just a period problem” while our skin, our weight, our mood, and our energy were all falling apart. Today, the medical world finally admitted you were right.
PCOS is now PMOS.
