The stray dog issue in almost every society is certainly aggravated by irresponsible behaviour from some society members. But the larger question is: why was the problem allowed to reach this stage in the first place?

When authorities fail to control the stray population through timely sterilisation, vaccination, and proper population management, the consequences eventually fall on ordinary citizens and housing societies. Society members then end up fighting among themselves over a problem that should have been addressed systematically much earlier.

And this is just one example of a much larger problem. Governance failures are visible all around us.

Inside your own house, you experience it in the form of an uneven or impure water supply, irregular electricity, illegal constructions by neighbours, poor civic infrastructure and countless other everyday inconveniences.

And the moment you step outside your house, it only continues...broken roads, overflowing garbage, potholes, encroachments, traffic chaos, poor footpaths, inadequate public infrastructure, stray animals and a host of other civic issues.

We have become so accustomed to these failures that they are almost treated as a normal part of everyday life. The real problem isn't just that these issues exist; it is that they are allowed to persist for years without accountability, until citizens are forced to fight among themselves over the consequences.

Dear @JustSnabbit — quite an unusual experience with one of your workers, Sony Kumari.

We gave her a 4 star rating after the service. She then refused to work at our home, explicitly stating that she wouldn’t come because we hadn’t given her 5 stars.

I have raised a complaint and also have CCTV footage of her stating this herself.

Is this how ratings are supposed to work? Customers should be free to give an honest rating without worrying that a worker will refuse future service because it wasn’t 5 stars.

Please look into this. Also I had to cancel the booking and that costed us 148 Rs. Plus the mental agaony and wasted time.

A lawyer who knowingly misuses the criminal justice system by filing false or malicious complaints doesn't just harass an individual, they undermine public faith in the rule of law. The legal profession exists to uphold justice, not weaponize legal procedures against citizens.

There must be swift and stringent disciplinary action against advocates found, after due process, to have deliberately abused the legal system. Such conduct should invite exemplary consequences so that the justice system remains a shield for the innocent, not a tool for harassment.

Requesting @barcouncilindia , @LawMinIndia and the concerned State Bar Council to strengthen accountability and take firm action against proven misuse of the legal process.

Many people have already formed opinions about me without hearing my side, without verifying facts, and without waiting for due process. I do not hold any bitterness towards them. I understand that people can only react to the information they are shown.

What saddens me more is how easily narratives can shape perceptions and how quickly a person’s reputation can be put on trial in the court of public opinion. But I still have faith in truth, in justice, and in the ability of fair-minded people to eventually see the complete picture.

Time has a unique way of separating noise from facts, allegations from evidence, and narratives from reality.
