It's incredible how the definition of goodness changes over time. I guess in today's time it'd be - not resenting if you ended up benefiting someone without benefiting yourself.
Writing is, in many ways, like clicking a pic. You capture a mood, a moment - not with a camera but with your words. How critical it is to write exactly when the mood strikes! It doesn't matter whether the mood is black, blue or pink. So go ahead, paint a picture with your words!
We are strange folks. Always with a measuring tape, eager to note the gap between what we want and what we have. And the discontent is palpable even if the gap is of inches, not feet or miles.
In fact, I think a gap of inches elicits more pathos than one of miles. Why?
@namitadas21 Yeah, but he feels to pressurized by it that he shouts it out into a dry well. Reeds in the well absorb it and when someone makes a flute from them, they sing out the secret. Gosh, I'd seen it as a kid on DD and still remember the tune in which they sang Raja k sir pe seeng!! 😅
