Akshay Kumar films are struggling big time with pre-release buzz and there are different reasons for it. And this impacts the opening of his films in a big way. And sadly, a respectable opening in this multiplex era is a must (in most cases) for a healthy lifetime.

His most anticipated sequels in recent times could’ve opened to much better numbers but the pre-release hype is impacted in some way or the other.

He began filming for #Samuk but the news could’ve been amplified later and not just one day before a trailer drop. The attention gets divided. Also, in this era, when the attention span has reduced, actors must always prioritise pulling all the available attention to just one film and then move on to the next, in this era of OTT dominance.

Yes, Akshay Kumar must avoid doing remakes but more than that, it’s important for him and his team to manage the pre-release buzz/hype. He’s probably one of the very few, who has NOT disappointed with his performances and choices in recent times BUT box office is also important..
