Jobs I donโt want
-Any one my current career offers
โจJobs I do wantโจ
-Time traveling femme fatale spy.
-Mysterious witch of the woods you only seek in your moment of outmost desperation.
-Whatever it is Pussy Galore was doing in the James Bond movies.
@Schaffrillas The ending of the original Nightmare on elm street feels like you completed the game almost perfectly but you missed like one collectible so you get the bad ending screen
@rodeorosebud I hope there was SOME conflict, imagine getting irrevocable proof that your bf will not lift a finger to defend your people when push comes to shove
Meanwhile your friendโs boyfriend (with less influence than yours) barges in and gives up literally everything to save him
@durgedorian Sorcerers also have the stereotype โvolatile magic from a magical bloodlineโ so you can follow the logic
As for Storm, maybe they thought giving the draconic subclass to the Dragonborn would confuse players about the origin of their magic and wild magic is played of more goofy
@durgedorian I think the simple answer is Sorcerer, bard and monk are the only classes not represented by another companion you can get
Bard kinda doesnโt fit Durge super well and monk is also an awkward fit given their stereotype of inner peace and meditation.
So I guess sorcerer it was
@anygoodtidings A contrast to Vox Machina whose image is more aligned with being the chosen one epic fantasy heroes yet they constantly struggled to stay alive in basically every combat they ever got involved in (failing several times)
@anygoodtidings I love that so much of their image is based on being a group of incompetent goofballs that stumble unto the plot however they accidentally ended up with a party synergy so good they run every combat like the navy seals
@Niayayaya_yuh I feel like people hated this image for purely aesthetic reasons first and then they came up with the more woke justifications to hate on it afterwards
Iโm not even gonna comment on if those justifications were right, I just feel like for most people they were afterthoughts
@TNOQuoProQuid My players spend like an irl hour figuring out what to say to this npc and after a while this guy comes in a starts mocking him about fumbling his ex
Got thrown out of a window for it but he moved the conversation along
@TNOQuoProQuid I have a player at my table who always pushes to do the stupid or โplotlessโ stuff his character fills like doing and it kinda frustrated until it was my turn to be the GM and realized just how much time he was saving us
@BimbleWizard He is absolutely DELIGHTED to be the uncomplicated evil vampire lord that gets whipped-whacked by a Belmont into a hundred year nap
It is Alucard who he HATES to see and makes him mad, because he makes everything complicated
@Script_Scribble Like at most I could imagine an Iroh thing where she spends most of her life being evil and ruining lives until one day she finally looses someone/something she cares about and changes her perspective on the world
@Script_Scribble I think the nuance, complicated answer that satisfies no one is that she does absolutely deserve a chance at redemption but I donโt honestly she would ever take it realistically and if given her freedom she would probably become a problem for the world real quick
@Soraismyson I think Berdly is an unbelievably annoying character if you yourself where at any point some degree of Berdly
That activates the kill switch from what Iโve seen in playthroughs
