It hit me today, I’m going to end up being one of those old ladies who either die with their recipes or leave out an ingredient so no one can make it like grandma Andrea.

@JennethJohanson Klim is my favorite. It’s water proof and wind proof. I literally walked a for an hour in flooding creek & didn’t get wet. You can buy the warmness you need. I ride primarily in the mountains so I don’t use their thick stuff, but my dad loves his thicker jacket for riding trails
Dad: the monitors are so easy to run, I don’t know why people have problems figuring them out.
Also my dad: Andrea, how do I change it to the combine? Andrea, I can’t find my saved lines. Andrea, where’s my autopath lines? Andrea, can you change a layout?
🌽 Yield Update: Here is 50:50 plot with Dekalb & Pioneer near Northrop, MN.
Outstanding Performance from Pioneer w/ a plot average of 259.1 bu/A vs. 249.8 bu/A from Dekalb, that’s a 9.3 bu/A advantage! Pioneer took 8 of the top 9 spots with other spot being Croplan not DeKalb.
My husband hooked up us with Machine Sync this year so now my dads new favorite hobby is jerking the combine wheels to test the tractors reaction time 🤦🏻♀️. The reaction time is solid every time if anyone is curious. I need a chiropractor though.
Just got yelled at by a couple for a mistake that a different sweet corn stand made, but thought it was me. So now I won’t be able to sleep tonight because now I feel guilty of something I didn’t do. Thanks people for that.
Farmers say it’s expensive to be friends with the John Deere guy. But what I’m learning when you farm, it’s also expensive to be married to the John Deere guy.
@tiling_guy2012 I don’t know? I’ve been putting the most expensive fuel at the station in it for 8550 miles now. And it’s got a spot for DEF?? Don’t know what the fuck that’s for.
The amount of men I’ve had to argue with over putting diesel in my diesel Yukon is actually stupid. Just believe me the first time when I say it has a Duramax under the hood. 🙃
@braunfarm On a different note, I think an organic farmer around here actually was in a similar situation and he dug it up and replanted part of the field like last weekend. But today he was out with with super burner burning the rest.
