@livie_case@getnickwright I mean, he played like 10 more seasons after that lol but I think my point is being missed. Even if it was visible in real time, that doesn’t mean Nick saw it or interpreted it that specific way. I’ve definitely changed my opinion on past occurrences upon reflection.
@livie_case@getnickwright That’s not necessarily true. I see things in real time and then reflect on all the information later. So do you. Sometimes there’s context needed that you can’t even see in real time. Sometimes other things you see later on fully contextualize something you previously believed.
@livie_case@getnickwright He went back and reflected on how good Dirk actually was and how much he actually impacted winning. He decided he formed the wrong opinion previously. It’s the intellectually honest thing to do.
@WhatsWrightShow Actually I forgot one crucial part of this. In order to use ring counting in the argument players would need to play with the same level of talent around them as another AND compete against the same level of talent as well correct? Making ring count unquantifiable wouldn’t it?
@WhatsWrightShow Player ever and not win any championships isn’t it? Like if you’re always matched up against way better rosters than your own with better coaching, etc. The core of what I want to hear you talk about is ring culture and how it sometimes by default makes people form opinions that
@Weak3n me again lol. Watched your most recent vid, loved it. I main solo, I build hybrid often and I still feel at least semi tanky and even do decent damage. I’m not sure who’s saying tanks can’t tank lol. When I go tanky based on team needs I’m VERY tanky. That’s my anecdote.
