People who play like this never play games where movement is a key mechanic. Quake, Unreal, Tribes, and Titanfall all have different fast-paced high movement skill ceilings, but they don't want to play them because they know they'll get thrashed by dudes who make them slow.
I rarely ever post about my music ventures on here, but my band @UponTheWater is dropping our first new single in 4 years next week. If you wouldn’t mind RTing this and pre-saving the song that would mean the absolute world to me!
@brammflakes In recent memory, the best games have been lower price tags with fair mtx (thinking of Helldivers 2)
I haven't seen anything that would make me confident that a company will be able to put out a game worth $100, even with no mtx. And GTA is absolutely going to have mtx. 2/2
@brammflakes For sure, but to push back on that a bit: Arma Reforger is a $40 game, and I feel like that is fairly priced. The point of my original question is that I personally don't feel like there has been a full-priced $70 game that has truly been worth that price. 1/2
