@sleitnick The awesome thing about a metaverse is that there doesn't have to be scarcity of goods; a good can be abundant and free (for free) if desired. Trying to model a metaverse economy after the scarcity of the real world will become anticonsumer and defeat the initial appeal of games.

This is opposed to all of the elements of the original work being duplicated with the intent of obsoleting the original work.
