The amount runs into the BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

Philip Esformes: He operated a Florida nursing home network and was convicted in a $1.3 billion Medicare and Medicaid fraud scheme, which the Department of Justice (DOJ) called one of the largest health care fraud cases in history. He had served 14 months of a 20-year sentence.

Lawrence Duran: The co-owner of a Florida mental health care company, Duran, orchestrated a $205 million Medicare fraud scheme. Trump commuted his 50-year prison sentence and wiped out his remaining court-ordered restitution of over $87 million.

Salomon Melgen: Medicare fraud of up to $73 million. Melgen falsely diagnosed patients with eye diseases to perform unnecessary, painful surgeries and injections.

Joseph Schwartz: A nursing home chain operator was convicted of Medicaid fraud and failing to pay $38 million in taxes. Trump pardoned him just three months into a three-year federal prison term.

WellCare Health Plans Executives: Five former executives (Todd Farha, Thaddeus Bereday, William Kale, Paul Behrens, and Peter Clay) received full pardons for their convictions stemming from a major Medicaid fraud scheme in Florida.

Judith Negron: Negron was sentenced to 35 years in prison for her role alongside Lawrence Duran in the $205 million Medicare fraud scheme.
