I spent a year making this game.
Day job 7:30 to 16:00, five days a week. Three evenings a week I made pizza until late. Whatever was left, I put into the game. Sometimes until 2am, knowing I had work in the morning.
It's out now. Two copies sold, 36 wishlists.🥳🥳
I honestly thought it would go worse. For a whole year I had this thought in the back of my head that none of it made sense. Turns out it did.
There was supposed to be a day one patch. It didn't happen because I spent until 2am fighting collisions in GameMaker. It only clicked the next day at work what I'd done wrong.

So tonight, after the pizza shift, I'll try to fix it. Day two patch, hopefully.

Imagine working your main job from 7 AM to 4 PM, then coming home and, three times a week, going back to work at 5:30 PM. Depending on how many orders there are, I am usually making pizzas until around 9 PM. On top of that, I am working on my game, taking care of my family and looking after my young child.

It is a real challenge, but it is one I have chosen to take on. I wish strength to everyone who has a lot on their shoulders. Sometimes that strength is exactly what we need to keep going. 🫡💪
