Today I had the honour of visiting Giuseppe Magni on his 104th birthday, our oldest Carabiniere. 🇮🇹
I thanked him for his lifelong service to the Arma and the Republic.

Just concluded a briefing with Defence Minister Antonio Costa at the Farnesina regarding the investigation into Giovanni Rossi. Following our discussions, I've decided that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be suspending the visa program until conditions allow reopening.
The Carabinieri are conducting a full investigation into Giovanni Rossi following his departure and change of citizenship. We're working closely with judicial and security authorities to assess any risks to national security. Updates will follow as appropriate.
