Girls don't become powerful by chance. They become powerful when they know who they are, grow their minds through education, and develop skills that prepare them for life.
Empowered girls don't just change their own lives, they transform communities, and shape generations.
Boys as much as girls need to learn that their body belongs to them, and they have the responsibility to defend & protect it.Although a girl child is more vulnerable to CSA, a boy child is not exonerated. Hence the need for Body-safety awareness. Prevention is better than healing
I had a great time today celebrating International Girl-Day Child with girls in primary and secondary schools. It was a mutual learning experience.
Our Theme was:
Empowering Girls to Defend and Lead.
It was a time for our girls to reflect on their strengths & potential.
#Girls
A girl who understands her worth walks with purpose. She knows her body is her own, a reflection of strength and courage. She doesn’t seek approval; she embraces her uniqueness, choosing self-respect over fleeting acceptance.
