My experience in DeFi has been wild. Unlike most, my experience has been hot and cold���. But at the very least, always exciting, and always hopeful. As a result of running a project, I’ve seen the polarization from the inside. The people that want it to succeed, do so with genuine intentions. I also have had my personal project hacked by well known accounts on here (just a matter of time for at least 365 of them). I know what it takes to hold back information because of the process. I am astounded by the audacity of some to criticize, despite their culpability. I am even more moved by the safemoon army’s ability to continually organize behind a common dream. When we take a step back to look at what we're building, Its quite simple, here is a rudimentary diagram of my dream. As part of our continuing efforts to safeguard assets and improve operations, we are taking some actions that will be observable on the blockchain.

As part of our commitment to sharing information updates as and when we can, we wanted to let you know that a blacklist setting is being applied to a specific group of wallet addresses.

The deployer wallet and associated contracts will be rotated out to a refreshed set of company owned wallets, and social media accounts may see updates to some of the profiles (detail, users, roles, etc).

Maintenance improvements and feature deployments/enhancements to wallet apps also are expected to continue.

During some of these activities there may be a limited, temporary pause on access to the SWaP,  Bridges and V1-V2 migration tool while changes are applied.

Outside of this, all other operations such as the SWaP, bridges, apps and tools should continue as usual. No changes are being made to the LP (Liquidity Pools).

We really appreciate the understanding and compassion that we have seen from so many as we navigate recent events, and look to moving our business forward.

Here are my thoughts.

First, it’s a grand jury indictment. Not a prosecutor’s complaint. Cases go to grand jury for two reasons typically. 1. Political cases. 2. When it’s weak. Here it seems the latter to me. And the prosecutor needs to have some reassurance. They cannot get Smith and Nagy without pressuring Karony. How do you get pressure on Karony? You include him in the bill. We know the government isn’t smart enough to do this on their own. It’s fudders, including prior employees who have been fired who are probably turncoats. When the grand jury transcript is turned over. We will all know.

Second, we all knew the 6abe wallet was primarily tied to Thomas. The allegations against Karony are thin in my opinion. John has shown himself dedicated to #SAFEMOON @safemoon and the #SAFEMOONARMY. I think that’s a hard sell to any jury that John is a co-conspirator when he fired these people. And has significantly advanced and improved the company.

Finally, they forum shopped this to NY district court. This is a political move. Powerful people cause bad shit to happen EVERY SINGLE TIME SafeMoon is about to release something.

I have more thoughts, but I’ll primarily keep them to myself for now. It’s ok to be disappointed and upset. I’m a maxi. I own it. But I’m not leaving. #HODL I stand with John. @johnkarony
