I’m not okay. But I’m not quitting either.
I’m still here because I believe in what I am building.
So no codes today. Just my truth.
(PS: If you know anyone hiring a Devrel, please share this with him/her)
I left college in late 2023.
Why? Because in Nigeria, while trying to submit my assignment, I was being told to write code on a sheet of paper, after coding since 2017, building webpages using CMS and vanillaJS.
I told my dad this:
“If I’m still writing code on paper in college, then I doubt the Nigerian education system is built for me.”
So I bet on myself.
I went deep into Web3, and everything changed.
In 3 years, I’ve:
– Led DevRel @_one_dev
– Helped onboard devs across Africa
– Joined @AlchemyLearn as the first West African ambassador
– Interned as DevRel @monad_xyz
– Presented a workshop at @ETHSafari
– Contributed to Base/Coinbase UXR, thanks to @natago
– Shipped, Taught, and still Advocating.
All without VC funding or big backers. Just grit, community, and late nights.
I don’t want pity. I’m not begging.
Can I back all of this up? yes! I have social proof.
You might ask, "Why not just build your product?" I believe a lot in building solid products that solve problems, but I love what I do as a DevRel more.
Why Web3?
Growing up in Nigeria, I’ve seen broken systems and lived uncertainty. I believe builders deserve better.
I’m not okay, burnout and challenges hit hard, but I’m not quitting. I’m here for impact, not hype.
I’m seeking a full-time DevRel role, remote or local.
If you value developer empathy, technical clarity, and real impact, let’s connect.

This is a long shot, but if you believe Web3 needs authentic voices, I’m showing up.
Not begging, just asking for a chance to keep building.
TLDR: Devrel Advocate with 8 years of experience in both web2 & web3. Looking for a full-time DevRel role.
