🧵 My Real Vision Journey

This is my Real Vision journey.

It began back in 2009 when BBC2 aired Million Dollar Traders, a modern reboot of the famous Turtle Traders experiment. 8 ordinary people were given a crash course in trading and pitted against the markets, guided by a hedge fund professional. And there he was, @RaoulGMI, a blink and you miss it cameo.

Me being me, I decided that if this guy could teach 8 complete novices from all walks of life, then he was the guy who was going to teach me too.

For the next five years I tried to track him down, Googling Raoul Pal, following every breadcrumb, and along the way encountering Anton and Lex, but Raoul stayed elusive.
