それは特別な日になるはずではありませんでした。ただのいつもの夜、長い一日の後に出かける普通のディナーだと思っていました。彼女は何も疑わず、彼は心の中で高まる緊張を隠しながら、普段より少し落ち着いているふりをしていました。

二人が訪れたのは、彼女のお気に入りのレストラン。水辺を望むその場所では、夕日が空を金色とピンクに染めていました。彼女は微笑みましたが、そのすべてが彼によって丁寧に計画されていたことには気づいていませんでした。

食事の途中で、彼はどこか落ち着かない様子になりました。グラスをいじりながら静かになった彼を見て、彼女は笑いながら「どうしたの？」と尋ねました。彼はただ首を振り、緊張した笑顔を見せるだけでした。

すると突然、店内に流れていた音楽が“二人の思い出の曲”に変わりました。

彼女は動きを止めました。

何が起きているのか理解する前に、彼は立ち上がり、テーブルの反対側へ回って、そっと彼女の手を取りました。最初は声が震えていましたが、言葉には確かな想いが込められていました。

彼は初めて出会った日のこと、彼女がどれほど自分の人生を変えてくれたか、どれほど大切な存在になったかを語りました。彼女の目にはすでに涙が溢れていました。

そして彼は片膝をつきました。

その瞬間、世界が止まったかのようでした。周りの会話も、グラスの音もすべて消え、そこには二人だけが存在していました。

「僕と結婚してくれますか？」

彼が言い終わる前に、彼女は「はい」と答えました。笑いながら、そして涙を流しながら。

レストラン中が拍手に包まれましたが、二人にはほとんど聞こえていませんでした。その瞬間に大切だったのはただ一つ――これから先、毎日お互いを選び続けるという約束でした。

It's 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹, thoughtful, easy-to-understand content made for actual people. A lot of you asked for something like this during the last CTO and it never happened... so we made sure it did this time. It's 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 though — we'll keep adding to it and making it better as we go.

We've also been grinding behind the scenes on the website. The 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩 refresh with better optimization is now 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲, and we spent a ton of time manually hitting up all the big data aggregators to get our new logo, socials, and everything 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱. Not the most exciting work, but it needed doing right.

We're still working hard behind the scenes on more 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and ideas to make things even better for everyone. None of it happens overnight, but we're 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 to keep showing up and delivering.

It's been a wild ride: the surprise launch, dealing with the old CTO drama, rebranding the logo, fixing all the listings, and now getting both the Academy and website updates out there. None of it was easy, but seeing it 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 feels really good.

Look, this space is full of uncertainty. We don't know exactly where PUP ends up long term... but we do know how to be good to each other. Respect the 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, look out for one another, ignore the noise, and 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.
