We are witnessing a transition in the global financial landscape, moving away from the traditional gold-backed US dollar & petro dollar towards a new era of the emerging crypto dollar. A notable sign of this transformation is the remarkable growth of stablecoins.
My take on Stocks/Bitcoin etc is that they've held up well in light of fairly significant negativity.
But at the same time, starting to run into the danger of stalling out. So would like to see some momentum return quickly.
🚨 OpenAI says its AI has DISPROVED ETH.
ETH here stands for the Exponential Time Hypothesis, a decades-old assumption about how difficult certain computing problems are to solve as they grow.
OpenAI says its AI developed an algorithm faster than the hypothesis permits, challenging an assumption used in hundreds of research papers.
The company says the disproof was found on October 16, verified the next day using the Lean proof-checking system, and published on GitHub alongside its formal verification.
ETH’s original proposers, Russell Impagliazzo and Ramamohan Paturi, will lead a review with MIT’s Ryan Williams. Turning the result into faster real-world algorithms “will require significant further research,” OpenAI says.
The company also claims two further breakthroughs:
• Mathematics: Resolving the Kakeya conjecture in every dimension, following last year’s proof of the three-dimensional case.
• Physics: Producing a proof addressing part of a $1 MILLION Millennium Prize problem. That work remains unreleased, with a group led by Nobel laureate David Gross set to examine it.
Here's a direct link to OpenAI's PDF claiming a refutation of ETH. In particular, it's claimed that 3SAT on n variables is in about exp(n/(log n)^{1/2+o(1)}) time

Mark Cuban reveals why he stepped away from Shark Tank and sold the Dallas Mavericks.
After years of chasing success, he realized that missing birthdays and family moments wasn’t worth it.
“You don’t get those years back.”
Most Ethereum wallets still show your entire financial history to anyone who has your address, and the Ethereum Foundation is now framing that as a security hole rather than a privacy nice-to-have.
On Monday, the Foundation posted that the past week's attacks and exploits made one point clearer to them, which is that privacy and security can't be treated as separate goals.
Their line was that you can worry less about an attacker using your onchain history against you when privacy is the default.
The post quoted an update on Kohaku, the Foundation's privacy-first wallet tooling project.
The JavaScript repo splits it into packages that a wallet team can pick up one at a time.
There are libraries for Privacy Pools and Tornado Cash, plus a Railgun library the README currently marks as under maintenance.
A plugins package defines a standard interface for shielded pool protocols, so a wallet can talk to all of them the same way.
A provider package abstracts over ethers, viem, Helios and Colibri.
The repo also ships a post-quantum ERC-4337 account.
Rust crates live in a separate sister repository.
I like that this is shaped as an SDK rather than yet another privacy wallet asking users to move funds.
The idea is that existing wallets add shielded flows without each team reimplementing three protocols.
The README is blunt about where things stand.
Some parts are marked as not ready for production, and the packages contain unaudited code.
Ambire's Jordan Enev said last Friday that the team has spent months testing the integrations, and no public launch date has been given.
Vitalik and Nicolas Consigny are scheduled to demo Kohaku with Ambire on Ethereum mainnet at @EFDevcon next Tuesday, according to the session listing.

A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started.
Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now.
Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue.
We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months.
Why?
Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value.
Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value?
What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?!
The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED!
Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets!
No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone.
No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS!
Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity.
This should be obvious to everyone right now.
Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.
For anyone getting into biology, please consider taking airborne disease resistance more seriously.
It's a super important area of medicine that is a huge cause of death and sickness but easily gets forgotten. We're likely to get many more airborne plagues in the future due to the combination of not just extremely dense and interconnected society (including city and farm animals), but also accidents from bio research and offensive biotech (both from random people and from secret government programs that can easily get themselves exempted from safety restrictions), all enhanced by powerful AI.
Right now, this area is getting way less love than longevity research (which continues to be super important!), but it's an area where there are lots of unclaimed wins that we know exactly how to do (but are not yet doing) with present-day tech:
* early detection
* passive universal testing
* filtration/ventilation/UVC
* better vaccines (including making them open source and open science)
* cryptography to make all of the above privacy-preserving
We can have China-level pandemic resistance with Sweden-level limited intrusion into people's lives, and then go even further. We just have to actually do the work for it.
bitmine, a listed company that holds eth, reported 6.05m eth on october 25, about 4.95% of supply. its chairman tom lee calls 5% a hard ceiling, so only about 58,000 eth of room is left. last week it added 10,452 eth, worth about $24.6m, but spent about $45.9m buying back its own shares. this raises eth per share, but it leaves this large buyer little room to add new eth demand.
strategy bought zero bitcoin last week, its first pause in five weeks, and spent $204.9 million buying back its own preferred instead. strive bought 6,182 bitcoin at $82,732 the same week, its largest buy ever
the two biggest buyers of 2026 just disagreed. 80,200 sits under the new buyer's fill and above the old buyer's average, 75,450. a daily close under 79,700 is the only thing that changes my map
10/10 foods that make you look younger:
- A handful of almonds: vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative damage
- 2 kiwis: vitamin C helps your body make collagen, which gives skin structure
- A sweet potato: beta-carotene becomes vitamin A, supporting normal cell growth
- 1 avocado: improved forehead firmness after 8 weeks of eating 1 daily
- Cooked tomatoes: tomato-paste studies found reduced UV-related skin damage
- Olive oil: higher intake was associated with less facial photoaging
- Tablespoon of ground flaxseed: fiber supports digestion
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt: protein supports muscles and calcium supports bones
- A little dark chocolate: high-flavanol cocoa improved skin elasticity in trials
- Occasional Brazil nut: selenium supports antioxidant defenses
Skin aging is partly collagen loss, UV damage, oxidative stress, hydration and protein intake.
