AI is no longer just a support layer. It’s starting to replace how I actually work day to day.
Not because old tools are worse.
But because AI products remove steps, reduce friction, and feel more natural.
Here are some shifts I’m already seeing going into 2026:
1/ Search
From @Google → @GeminiApp / @perplexity_ai
I don’t want links anymore. I want direct answers I can use instantly.
2/ Research
From @Google → @perplexity_ai
Less time digging. More time thinking with summarized, cited outputs.
3/ Browsers
From @googlechrome → AI-native browsers like @comet
Tabs are being replaced by assistants that gather and filter information.
4/ Photo editing
From @Photoshop → @runwayml / @NanoBanana
No more layers. Just describe the result and iterate.
5/ Video editing
From @Adobe → @runwayml / @Kling_ai
Editing shifts from manual cuts to idea-driven generation.
6/ Image creation
From @midjourney → faster real-time tools as @NanoBanana
Speed and iteration matter more than prompt perfection.
7/ Design
From @canva → @figma
Design becomes collaboration with AI, not manual assembly.
8/ Writing
From @ChatGPTapp → @claudeai
More structured outputs, better reasoning, less cleanup.
9/ Spreadsheets
From @msexcel → @claudeai in Excel
No need to remember formulas. Just describe what you want.
10/ Presentations
From @powerpoint → @GammaApp
Slides start from ideas, not blank pages.
Feels like we’re moving from learning tools
to tools learning how to understand us.
Which workflow do you think AI will replace first?
The WLFI situation only worked as a story because wallets are public by default.
- Treasury moves tracked before announcements.
- Counterparties identified in real time.
- Wallets flagged and frozen based on on-chain history.
The drama got all the coverage but the actual infrastructure enabling all of it was just.
Default wallet transparency.
That part of the conversation is still massively underpriced.
Just saw @PerleLabs roll out a $55k community campaign.
The structure is pretty straightforward. Write about Perle on X, include #PerleAI and #ToPerle, finish with the campaign line, then submit the post.
Rewards are tiered by ranking. Top 50 get $350 each. 51 to 150 get $200. 151 to 400 get $50. There is also a $5,000 bonus pool for Voyager and Navigator tiers.
Campaign closes March 27, so the window is relatively short.
I’m joining this round. Curious how competitive the leaderboard will get toward the final days.
