@GordonRupe I believe adoption is more affordable if you do it through the foster care system not privately. Which again ought to be rewarded as taking in orphans is a public good.

I don’t think we should incentivize procreation in an already overpopulated planet. You shouldn’t get extra tax breaks per child - you should be taxed MORE per child because you & those kids are going to use up way more limited resources than the non-breeders.
