The meme is historically inaccurate because it sells the 1950s male breadwinner/female homemaker setup as timeless "tradition," when it's a short-lived industrial anomaly.

For most of human history, families were economic teams. Women worked right alongside their men. Often, even the kids pitched in, too. There was no clean "he goes to work, she stays home" divide. That was a luxury for the wealthy few.

The strict provider-homemaker model only really emerged with 19th century factories, then peaked in the prosperous 1950s postwar West thanks to economic boom, suburbs, and heavy propaganda. Even then, it wasn't universal, because working-class, rural, and many minority women kept laboring. It was never the default across centuries or cultures.

The "happiest woman in the world" smile was advertising fantasy too. Many housewives felt isolated and unfulfilled ("the problem with no name"). Real history shows women have always been economic contributors out of necessity and survival.

Pretending otherwise erases poor women's actual lived reality for millennia. Choice in family roles today beats romanticizing one brief, middle-class snapshot as eternal truth.

We talk about the Left and their world of make believe, but we have one as well. It is this amorphous perfect household structure where men work and the women stay at home and raise the children. This can't possible exist unless women find a man who are so financially stable that it allows for this to happen.

Groceries are high. Gas is high. Bills keep going up and schools send home more requests for money than homework assignments.

It's a nice fantasy, but the entire universe would have to align in order for it to come to fruition.

This is propaganda meant to make everyone feel guilty for not participating in a lifestyle that very few can imitate.

Please stop. It really is exhausting.

In the 1980’s many towns had a single gay bar. These often gave sanctuary to transexuals and the odd transvestite (because we were being kind and understood they’d get battered elsewhere). None of these men claimed to *be* women, and if they’d claimed to actually be lesbians, they’d have been laughed out the door. At the same time, trans orgs (eg the Beaumont Society) banned gay men from membership. The conflict has always existed.
*Trans people* did nothing in the fight for gay rights. Really, nothing.
When OUR history is co-opted by those who write us out of it, we should call it what it is - a parasitic movement.
Ushering in “gender identity ideology” has irrevocably harmed innumerable children who would otherwise grow up to be gay.
LGB and T organisations came together because LGB had won the argument and the T wanted to hide behind that. And they bought the money in.
Good luck if you want to start trying to reason with trans ideologues. We’ve tried for years. They have no compromise position.
It was always a forced marriage that many didn’t want. And, frankly, it’s now gone beyond abusive. We need out.

People are not angry because they can't enjoy things. They are angry because they correctly understand that the things they once loved are being converted into weapons for an ideology that hates them.

There is a very obvious sadistic side to Progressivism's hijacking of things like movies and video games. These people do not love the media they're destroying. They're not trying to make something good. They just want revenge against the normal world.
